Redwheel cottage
Redwheel is part of the converted dairy and has all ground floor accommodation sleeping four persons in two bedrooms. One bedroom has twin beds, with space for a cot or folding bed and the other has adult sized bunk beds.
The living area is open plan with a well equipped pine kitchen having a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and a dining table seating four. The lounge has a decorative Manx stone fireplace and TV with DVD and a bookcase full of books and information about the Isle of Man.
The fresh white bathroom has a WC, hand basin and bath with shower above.
Redwheel Cottage can be fitted with a ramp, has disabled rating ‘accessible three’ having wider doorways and meeting with the requirements for partially disabled persons. The bathroom has an extra bar beside the bath and the WC.
Car parking is a convenient 12m from the entrance to the cottage, the route from the car park into the cottage is accessible to a wheelchair with assistance. There is not level access but a ramp can be fitted to the entrance, the ramp is moderate and the width of the ramp is 89cm (2ft 11inches). Alternatively without the ramp there are two steps into the cottage which are classed as medium but do not have handrails The main door opens away from you, the opening is 79cm (2ft 7inches) wide.
